Is it OK to use disinfectant on my iPhone, iPad, or Mac?

The answer is YES. It is definitely OK to use disinfectant on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

You may use a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol or Clorox disinfecting wipes to clean your devices. Gently wipe the exterior surfaces of your device.

Make sure to keep the following notes in mind:

1. Do not use bleach.

2. Do not spray the isopropyl alcohol directly on your device. Use a damp lint-free cloth to clean your device.

3. Avoid getting moisture in any openings.

4. Do not submerge your device in any cleaning agent.
